What time does the League trial begin Friday night?
Anyone got news on Fraser Thurlow's absence? Hopefully, it's not the shoulder nor back trouble that made him miss the last half of 2014.

Norwood rested quite a few but some good signs tonight. Bomber was solid in ruck and around the ground, Hayes was impressive up forward, Goldy looks to have found a new home in the backline, Lewie and Pup were good in the middle. The end to end goal in 2nd quarter was as good as you would see.

Nick Hayes has had an interesting journey. Recruited by Bisbane Bears as a midsize forward from the Eagles, failing to impress and then tried as a midfielder and making the NEAFL State team as a midfielder, returning to the Eagles this year but looking at not having the engine for midfield. Now looking impressive, returning to a forward, reading the game well, finding space. Plays like Scott Morphett.
