I think I heard that last week was the first time that we went in with a unchanged team for 5 years.

Real possibility, should the Eagles beat Glenelg, we'll be in outright second position with Port likely to beat Sturt convincingly and Norwood a strong possibility against South.

It hurts a little to see Stephen Stretch's son line up against the Eagles tomorrow - from an article on him last year, it seems Melbourne Football Club are watching his progress very closely to grab him in a Father-Son deal, so the State junior player may not be here long anyway.

Good to see Heinjus front for the first time this year. ? how many Seconds games he'll need to get his fitness and form up to League level. As June 30th approaches, any rumours of Eagles chasing any country/Amateur league 200cm types?

Any news on whether Amos Frank is going to join us again before June 30th.

yes, good win but last 3 goals to Glenelg in the space of 3-4 mins with Glenelg ruckman tapping the ball 3x backwards (almost unopposed) out of centre showed how young Fitzy (a developing CHF/CHB/FF) is having to do something beyond him (rucking) at this early stage of his career - still blame might fall to our midfielders who didn't cover defensively, especially after the second goal.

If the Magarey Medal was picked tomorrow, Luke Powell would be hard to beat such has been his excellent early season form. Poole is developing into a very good onballer - his closing speed in bringing down a player, his ferocious tackling and winning the football is great to watch.
Interesting, full back Aaron Killian "Best Player" this week in the Seconds, third best last week. Must be getting very close to selection as our missing "tall" in the last line of defence.
Caleb Lloyd played his best game. Was he HB or BPocket? Play another 1-2 games like that and he'll be too hard to drop - want a big game from Scott Lewis and quickly.

Come on, Louie, lift your form
